ive been running the mechanical bixenon bulbs in both of my cars...the yaris for about a year and the aveo for about 8 months....no issues at all i can GET dual bulbed HID's, but the bulbs themselves are more expensive and you need 4 ballasts instead of 2... let me know if you want a kit from me

you can "esasily" disable the DRL without removing the DRL module.
thought, i modified mine for having DRL on the fogs.... also not that DRL power is pulsed 12v, plugging anything on that will flicker. |

I have VVME Bi-xenon 3 years ago and no problems at all, you can get them on ebay for 60 bucks.
