I have a feeling it will cost more than that but the key when you send stuff overseas is to make it as light as possible b/c airmail costs quite a bit. So forget a fancy box and what not. The package needs to be sturdy however. and don't forget to attach a "C1" to tell Customs what it is, mark "gift / no commercial / resale value" and declare a small amount ($5). One thing I learned the hard way, though, don't use stamps. Post office doesn't like a lot of stamps on packages. In SF you can't even drop a package with stamps on it in a regular mailbox, it has to be stamped by the post office.

well with delivery confirmation, he was about 6 bucks total in a tyvec package so my guess is about 18... so how about a little pool for the cost idea...

and if it helps, i will offer to help by chipping in a couple bucks to custom to help offset the added cost of overseas shipping... wish i had thought of it earlier though... would have just sent a couple bucks in there with bamboo...
