Good point. The market has already changed quite a bit in just a year.
As you pointed out, hot new models are available making the 4 year old Yaris design less appealing.
Also, Yaris inventory is significantly larger - new and used. That of course devalues them.
And lastly, the market is once again shifting toward larger cars. Yes, SUV/truck sales have bounced back again since gas prices have remained steadily low. Almost all sub-compact sales are down.
And just wait until the new 2012 Yaris comes out, that will yield another sharp drop in the value of '07-'11 Yaris's.
