There are some videos on Youtube showing how to replace brake pads.. I haven't tried it in practice, but looks simple enough.

Haven't found instructions for the rear pads tho.

Hey guys I just found your forum while searching the net for info on Yaris brakes.

Here are some great schematics for the fronts:



I can upload the removal steps as well as the same for the rear....

...if that's ok with admin.

I did a quick search - I didn't find any such thread already in existence so.....

Hey forget all that crap I just posted.

I just put my glasses on and now I see that I can "attach" pdfs!



I'll split the applicable pdf (too big) then upload both parts.

Oh ya and if it's somewhere here already....apologies

I took the front pads out at 75,000 kms and there was 7mm left, new pads have 11.4mm depth of friction material, subtract the little bit from the wear groove to the backing plate which I didn't measure, 1mm???.
