hello all
Thanks WeeYari for your advice.
I Need more advice
I have started to swap my unit only to find thad the aerial lead has a recancle box with 2 wires attached wihch fits into the back of my radio not the standed round plug.
The 2 two leads come from the same trunking one which is a small coaxal lead standed areial lead, the other thiner finer black lead thats attached to the recancle box to seprate pin
Any help with this please

This car has a power amplified antenna, and I believe you are referring to the wire that supplies the power. There is a blue wire in the harness that connects to this antenna power lead.

I really do hope this is what you are talking about. If not, post up quick.

Thanks for advice,
i am going to upload pic,s of the aerial plug plus the back of the radio that came with the car
I think your right WeeYari that the other small black cable is for the power antenna
When i tested the aerial out on my new unit the radio worked,but the EJECT on the CD PLAYER and STEERING COULUM controls did not work on the new unit.
Replaced my old radio and EJECT and STEERING COULUM worked.

Before i join the black lead to the blue POWER ANTENNA lead in the harness will there be problems like my new unit blowing up [/COLOR]
I will email my supplier for help as well
