Kevin, no one asked you who do you play with? I have a 360 but don't care either way. What brought me onto the side of the box is that most of the people I know were on the xbox. I don't like playing by myself so it made sense to go with the xbox.

Yes, I've gone through a couple of xboxes myself but it's not all the inconvenience the net says it is. The new slim has pretty much solved the over-heating issues. If you see a complaint these days about overheating, look at the dates and if the dated response is current, see what box they are complaining about. Do your research.

Figure out what kind of gamer you are and head in that direction. I agree with fnkgrv's first post about the upkeep and what not. I say the plus and minus of both systems put them on even footing these days.

I'm an owner of 2 systems now. The fat PS3 and a new 4GB x360...hope 4GB is enough. The x360 will just be a backup to play the few exclusive games not offered for the PS3.
