Broken Windshield

The crack is only on the outside layer, and I can see perfectly fine since the crack developed directly in front of the wipers. So how much $$$ do you think a new windshield will set me back?

I have no idea as to cost, as my insurance covers glass at 100%, so whenever I've needed a windshield, I have just had to call my insurance company and they dispatch an auto glass repair shop to come to my house and swap it out.
