best heat wrap???

Don't use a header wrap on a intake... Header wrap is designed to keep heat in, you need a product that keeps radiant heat out.

Something that provides an air-gap between the intake and outside heat sources will yield the best results.

We found this one works really well on systems that still use an air filter box, rather than just a tube with a filter. It will stick to anything, and puts an air-gap between the intake/box surface and the heat barrier: http://www.designengineering.com/cat...und-insulation
