You're splitting hairs here. You'd be lucky to feel a difference between a intake and stock, let alone intake to intake. That is, unless you can feel the difference between 106 and 108??
$250+ for a pipe and a filter, and we're not talking a Mustang GT, a car that WILL gain performance from a intake, we're talking a lawnmower motor at a massive 1.5 liters. Keep the motor stock, don't put a intake/exhaust so you sound like every ricer on the block....and are as slow as them too. Save that $500+ to go towards a JR supercharger in the future if anything at all. Car will then be nice and quiet, and actually decently quick to boot. Put on a real quiet aftermarket muffler and be done with it.
I may sound like an ass, but I've been down the road of doing intake, bb throttle body, catback exhaust, and software on a BMW 1.8, and it maybe added 10hp at the crank, all for well over $1500. Save your money, earn some interest on it, and someday take a chunk out and feel good about actually making a difference in the performance of your car. my .02 cents.
