Switching to synthetic oil after 94,000 km on regular oil?

i disagree with bronsin about the leaks. i believe that's an ole wives tale. synthetics are superior because they make your engine run quieter, better mpg, and last longer before breaking down. i use full synthetic and go 10,000 between changes.

just use that cheap supertech synthetic from walmart. that's what that dude uses who has over 410,000 miles on his 07 yaris sedan.

I used synthetic oil in my r90/6 when it had 90,000 miles on regular oil. I was riding it in the winter and had trouble starting it. Starting was improved. It also began leaking oil out rhe cylinder base gaskets. Not a lot but it ruined the look I was after.

In my motorcycle club we had a little contest. Half the bikes had the oil changed with regular and half with synthetic. Then everybody got to try to tell which was which based on perception.

They couldnt.
