The Yaris with the in window antenna (not sure about 3/5 doors) have an amplified antenna. So you have to hook up the blue wire to the power antenna wire of the harnesses of after market radio harnesses. If you dont, you get crummy reception. It also is the signal for the amplifier turn on, so twist all three together.
