Another update i love the car nice smooth drive i thought by resetting the ecu would solve it but didnt i unplugged the battery left it off for a bit connected back up speedo starts showing then 2mins later starts going dimmer then goes off any ideas before i send it off to the garage.

That is very strange. If you don't unplug the battery, does it still come on for about 2 minutes when you start the car, or does it remain off until you once again unplug the battery? If the latter is the case, then I would suspect a failure in the drive circuitry for the VFD.
