sometimes if you don't clean the bead of the tire off before mounting them, a little piece of dirt or rust get imbedded in the rubber from the previous rim. I always wire brush the bead off if I'm switching tire from one set of rims to the other.

This is often overlooked and can be a problem with any tire. Also, many tire dealers/installers will apply a bit of soapy water to the tire/rim bead area to insure proper seating and sealing. |
