Should be fine.
Just remember after you clear the codes. The OBDII report from the car will be not ready and you will not pass inspection until you run it enough cycles for the computer to test all functions. My AutoXray scanner tells me if the Ready Flag is set or not. My ScanGuage also tells me if the Ready Flag is set.
