Good luck with the trip. Any thought to adding the CTScott DYI Cruise Control?
 I have the factory cruise and love it. Many here have added the DYI and like it too. A really cheap mod that might make parts of the trip enjoyable as well. It gives you a chance to take the foot off the accelerator and move around or adjust yourself.
