It includes the tuner, cabling, antenna, and hardware. When they say that the HU is satellite ready, they mean that is is ready to interface to a satellite radio. The antenna mounts to the roof and looks like a small rectangular puck. The FM antenna remains, since it feeds the HU's tuner. Satellite and FM operate at very different frequencies and hence require different antennas.
