My HAM radio still needs to be installed but that will be wired direct also. My big hold-up is installing the antenna.

I bought what I thought was a three position outlet at a swapfest.
Got home to find out that the middle position was probably intended for
the cigarette lighter element that normally goes in. However, it is just a
place to hold, as no power seems to be in the middle.
Oh well, it was cheap. I haven't mounted it yet.

What type of antenna mount are you thinking about?
