I actually have a Scion TC leather steering wheel on Crashy. The Yaris airbag cover doesn't fit it perfectly, so ideally you would want the TC airbag:

Do you have the door lock actuators from the Crashy somewhere? I am looking into installing those in my car (08 2dr).

![]() I just cut a piece of hard rubber, lifted the bottom spoke leather cover of the TC steering wheel and glued it in. I then glued the leather onto the hard rubber. I could have done a better job fitting it with my airbag, but I got lazy and eyeballed it. Looks like the spoke is now touching the airbag, but there's a small gap. |

There's just not too much leather there to begin with on that steering wheel spoke, so I tried to straighten out the gap. If you were to do some fitting beforehand, you can get it to look lots better than I did. Good luck. |

I was considering removing the leather and working on the wheel underneath and then reupholstering.. another option is buying some leather and simple tools and upholstering the steering wheel that I have in my car from scratch.. I saw coupld such projects .. looks doable (it is not in English but pics are self-explanatory.. the guy is using some crappy leather but still gets a decent result) http://avtoperedelka.ucoz.ru/publ/tj...kami/7-1-0-142 |
