Should've seen the first half. Drivers in all classes were tailing each other to spook them out lol.
But yeah, spread-out laps are common in endurance racing. It's all about building the best pacing strategy to win it all, especially since the timer is a major factor and not the number of laps. A driver doesn't have to be the fastest around the course to take the checkered flag for his class.
