2012 Yaris to debut at Lollapalooza this weekend in Chicago!

Wow what a let down, not impressive at all. I had REALLY hoped Toyota would offer a smaller engine size, or perhaps a 5/6-speed automatic or CVT transmission. Fuel economy isn't impressive at all considering the Yaris's competition these days.

Same 1.5L engine as outgoing model, I imagine the same 4-speed auto & 5-speed manual tranny
30/35 mpg city/hwy, from 29/35 on the current model
No Toyota Touch nav system

No need to go for speed AT 5-6.
With automatic transmission, 5-6 step ATP produces more heat, this is a blow to AT, it will be less reliable.
