I've had this issue. The front bumper clear coat started peeling around 50,000km took it to the dealer they fixed it (took them 2 tries to get the clear coat looking proper) the car was brand new and no it wasn't rock chips in the paint, only the clear coat.
about 2 months ago while washing the car I noticed the clear coat peeling on the passenger door in 2 separate spots went back to toyota, told them about the original issue, and the guy told me i'm out of luck because i've got so many km on the car now and it's not the same spot as before (it's only 3 years old). color is flint mica |
