not 100% happy with the new Trico exact fit rear for the yaris HB
(the fronts are fine)

the rear loses traction at the tip furthest from the arm,
in the first 4 inches of wipe, from .1 to 1 inch to .1 inch wide.

failsauce. I have a peeve and it is any rear wiper with less than 100% contact.

I will need to regroup and try a new arm, or a new insert, or something
to calm my seething rage.

Sounds like you got a bad one or that the wiper is binding slightly on the arm or the arm is getting tight at the hinge. Make sure to carefully lubercate the wiper arm hinge and that the wiper blade moves freely. If you still have the problem after that...you got a bad blade.

trickos don't really work of the rear. i had the same issue, bought the whole blade from toyota, seems to work nicely. 10$ and you can change just the rubber from that point on. just keep the toyota blade.
