i have stock steelies and just went from a 185/60 to 195/55 i dont think it throws off the speedo and its a subtle difference look wise but you can kinda tell its a little wider obvi. but feel wise it seems alot more stable and better grip when taking turns in my opinion, overall im happy. i also have 19mm rear sway bar and mi springs

your speedo will read 1.2 percent too fast on 195/55 vs 185/60

actual speed 59.3 speedo reads 60

This would be true if the speedo were acurate out of the box with the 185/60/15's... but it isn't.

I went from 185/60/15's to 205/50/16's (1.5% taller) and now my speedo is dead on!

Anyway, if you don't plan to drop the car, I would recommend replacing the 185/60's with 195/60's (2% taller) or 205/55's (0.7% taller). They'll fit the stock steel wheels comfortably and safely.
