NO, tanabes ar not that stiff. The harsh ride will come mostly from the tires not the springs.

Actually I do have a complaint about the DF's. I wish they were a little bit more stiff. I think they are to soft for a 2" drop... so the car it's scratching the road on any bump.
In my country we have more bumps and holes than road so don't take my words very serious. I probably should just drive more slow.

I'm also having rubbing issues in one of the rear tires.
The sidewall of the tire is rubbing the fender edge. I just need like 4mm to clear the tire so I will probably take out my demmel and see if I can clear it.

Replace your shocks. Im guessing you, like me, still used the stock shocks when installing your DF's?

That's right. I'm still riding the OEM shocks.

Correct me about my options:

TRD shocks or TRD shocks or mmm TRD shocks?

Is there anything else out there? i know the price for the TRD's is not too bad. But I'm still waiting for other options.


I read some where that the sportivo shocks were actually KYBs. Would be nice to find the KYB equivalent to the sportivos.
