Any tips on HID's?

The kit itself from Garm is awesome. The retrofit process, not so much.

Also, I already don't care for 6K. The light is pretty white with just a hint of blue, but the bounce back off road reflectors and signs is pretty violet. And I don't like that.

retrofits go better when you know what youre doing...

4300k will give you the best light output....and if garm gets the same kits i do, then you have the option of 4300k or 6000k...there is no 5000k

the refraction of the light in the curved part of the projector housings will give you that blue look you want regardless of the colour of the light output...

i sell a lot of hid's locally and i get a lot of young people asking me for "the same colour as a bmw". well, the lights in a bmw are 4300k....its the way the light bends at the edges of the projectors that give it that blue-purple look at certain angles.

It's not necessary to be condesending just because you have more experience than most here with retrofits. Everyone had to start somewhere.

I started a thread to ask how to make my retrofits not crappy like most everyone else. It's a forum. That's what we do.

That said, they don't seem to be the end-all for my personal needs. If you have a personal vendetta against that, then...well, they're called your problems. I'm not trying to start a beef, and I even thanked you for the help in the other thread, so I don't know why you're on my nuts about my opinion of projectors.
