Performance Parts for an Automatic
Hello all. I looked all over the forum but didnt find anything similar to this. I just purchased an 07 yaris sedan, unfortunately i got an automatic. Are there any performance parts i should start with, or am i wasting my time because im driving an auto?

All the suspension parts are identical so for cornering and stopping, you can do everything the liftback guys do. Springs/Shocks/Struts/Coilovers/Bracing/Sway Bars/Brakes/Etc.
Go-power you can do intake, exhaust, crank pulley, and there are a couple of supercharged and turbo guys with auto transmissions. Check out our store and I am happy to answer questions (along with a bunch of people on here) about how to make your car perform better.

only difference is with the auto you don't have to worry about shifting. Besides that you can do everything else just the same.

You can most certainly make performance improvements on your car's handling. Since our Yaris is just used for basic transportation, rather than trying to make it faster, I focused instead on making it more roadworthy with wheels, tires, and suspension improvements.

simple! start in "L" wait till you get to the top of the gear(it's noticeable) the go to "2" and so on and so on. I found actually by doin this it adds a tad of accerlation when doin this way vs regular "D". If you want the shift speeds or "points" I can find out for you tomorrow.

well here they are. startin for L:
2- around 39/40 mph 3- around 60/70 mpg D- around 100 I usaully shift from 3 to D quickly bc well I run in the city or on the E-way a lot. Only reason how i know the last shift point is bc i live out in the country. Also for the shift at "3" 60 is where i usually shift but 70 is the top of the gear

Shifting an auto wont damage your vehicle in any way will it? I actually tried this out today and its kind of fun, but I looked it up online and was told its better to get a manual valve body and doing this will wear out my transmission faster because of all the heat.
