I mean I could have done that :) HaHa I really just wanted to lower it right now. But if I find the ride that bad I will add the shocks and then maybe some coilovers.

Okay call me a newb but what exactly do coilovers do?????

Honestly why is the ride that bad with NF I never see you complain about DF so how can NF springs be that much worse????
I am more telling you that you got 2 bad things foin for ya... each done on there own, not so bad, but together... brick on wheels
17in wheels will give the yaris a shitty ride
lowering the yaris makes you feel every bump in the road

Hey I would have done it back in the day... not not for me anymore, I sure would not run on a 40 series tire, cost too much replacing bent wheels and blown out tires from a rock in the road

well from what I know springs, though stated that they work with the car's suspension might not work too well with the stock strut. The ride gets too rough because the stock struts aren't aftermarket and are too soft and wanna bounce whereas the springs want to hush up and sit there probably causing more bouncing. Coilovers on the other hand are made to work together as a whole. The shock and strut work together as a unit since they are manufactured as a set. This is only my opinion and my friends opinions (he 's been in the import scene since the beginning....even dropped outta high school to pursue with the import scene.) If I'm wrong please correct me.

The ride in 17s is honestly not much different from the stock 15s and I got NF instead of DF because of the smaller drop for hopefully a better ride. We Will see......

As for the coilovers hummm sounds right to me but that means absolutely shit I guess cause I have no idea what I am talking about LOL :)

True, but at a grand or more vs 150 bucks makes it a less appealing option.

Yea but I mean, if he's gonna go and swap the whole thing out eventually...it's somewhat better to get the coils right? instead of use money to buy springs, then coils or whatever he chooses? I chose the coils because suspension is key to me and I'd rather swap everything out as a whole rather than just springs. Aside from that I'm basically broke haha. Costly but worth it.

What are you talking about Black Yaris??? I have 17's with 205/40/17 tires on NF210's and the ride isn't harsh at all. It's my 100/day daily driver and I wouldn't even hesitate taking it on a roadtrip. Stop smoking dat crack...

NO, tanabes ar not that stiff. The harsh ride will come mostly from the tires not the springs.

Actually I do have a complaint about the DF's. I wish they were a little bit more stiff. I think they are to soft for a 2" drop... so the car it's scratching the road on any bump.
In my country we have more bumps and holes than road so don't take my words very serious. I probably should just drive more slow.

I'm also having rubbing issues in one of the rear tires.
The sidewall of the tire is rubbing the fender edge. I just need like 4mm to clear the tire so I will probably take out my demmel and see if I can clear it.

Replace your shocks. Im guessing you, like me, still used the stock shocks when installing your DF's?

That's right. I'm still riding the OEM shocks.

Correct me about my options:

TRD shocks or TRD shocks or mmm TRD shocks?

Is there anything else out there? i know the price for the TRD's is not too bad. But I'm still waiting for other options.

I read some where that the sportivo shocks were actually KYBs. Would be nice to find the KYB equivalent to the sportivos.
