Every aftermarket spring I've put on can be put on the strut without a spring compressor EXCEPT Eibach prokits

Indeed, but I'm going to be swapping out springs & shocks every fall/spring. This way I won't need a compressor to dis-/re-assemble the OEM springs twice a year.

i did the same for a couple years...then i got sick of doing it twice a year and just run eibach sportlines year-round.

i run taller tires in the winter, though....gives me an extra 1/2" of ground clearance

Prokits have the least amount of drop. Therefor they are a taller spring, requiring more compression to mount over springs that drop 1.5 to 2".

I just installed Tokico reds and Eibach pro kit springs and DID NOT have to use a spring compressor to install; however, of course needed it for the stock spring removal for the parts that would transfer to the Tokicos.

I can safely say I will not need a spring compressor in the future to remove the Eibachs...they are shorter than stock enough to avoid the need for the tool.
