Thank you. However, as i stated earlier, i had an after market remote starter installed. I started to investigate the pink ignition switch wire situation and found that they tapped into that same wire at the switch for the remote starter and it is a little tight in there now. I could probably tap into the wire they have going to the box they installed but will this mess up the remote starter? Or, is there another point down stream I can catch the pink wire...it disappears into a fiddle string of wires and i don't know wear it ends up.

The pin one is typically the easiest. You can tap the remote starter wire that is attached to it, as I am sure that the onstar box draws very little current.
