I am happy that my 2007 has no chrome ... as I just hate the look of chrome. I guess you could call me happy.

There sure won't be a 2012 in my future. I also cannot stand that dumb single wiper on the 2012.

I don't like the single wiper either. I'd love it if a 2012 or 2013 owner weighed in re the safety of the single wiper -- does it clear the windshield as well as the double wipers on the Gen 2 Yaris in a medium or fairly hard rain? I don't like the chrome on any other color, but (after seeing the pictures of Hershey's friend's car) I do like the chrome and Classic Silver Metallic together on the 3-door. Isn't the Toyota emblem on your hatch chrome?

Not a problem with a single wiper.
Drove most of last week in the rain to and from work.

The rear is useless though!!

Thanks, good to know, especially from you. As a fellow picky negotiator/strong opinion holder, I would think you would critique this safety aspect with the same mindset I would.

Agreed the front wiper is not a trouble, but the rear one is just worthless weight :)
