What you're hearing is a peak in response of the enclosure. You're probably hearing it at 60-80 Hz.

What does you EQ allow you to adjust in the way of frequencies?

lmao! to be honest, i dont know anything about car audio stuff...only on car performance lol. so, i had my brother (who is into that car audio stuff) check the eq. he did adjust it, and by any means idk what he was talking about.

but my sound system did sound a lot better. as much as i know the trebel is clear, the bass hits hard but not too loud. he also mentions that i DO need tweeters. hatchback produces more bass i guess.
