i think is that your MP3 Player is mess up, is not 'cause how you burned it. My Factory MP3 Player plays everything from Mp3 to WMA without organization or folders it (i'm a lazy person).....i think it's because of your Player. you should take it back to your dealer like JASPIE.

AH, someone after my own apathetic disposition. Please convince me this thing is broke. Cause, I still ain't keen on having my dash tinkered with. Yours works with any bit rate and any organization? This gives me hope. I'm a cynical SOB. :)

I have the stock, standard (non-premium) single disc player. The only time it malfunctioned is when I tried applying stick-on labels to the CDs. I rip from CDs using Exact Audio Copy, encode mp3s with LAME VBR, and burn with Nero. I also have some misc mp3s of different bit rates from different sources. I have some mp3 CDs with songs in the root folder but most in album folders.

It sounds like there's a problem with your player.
