Tokico Blues and 2012 springs

So today I installed the new struts/shocks on my 08. I bought some takeoffs from a 2012(springs). My line of thought was keep the stock ride height with some fresh springs. To my surprise the 2012 springs are about one inch shorter with one less coil, but feel much firmer. So I guess Toyota stiffed up the 2012 models.

Ride height looks the same, but I did not measure.

Thanks to the forum tips! the install took less than 3 hours, and the car feels Fantastic!

A few of you asked were I got them. The shocks came from gummygrip.com for a total of $330. That includes shipping and tax.

matt at GG told me anyone on the west coast could get that price. They arrived in less than 2 days.
