I just got a pair of Foster Grants - 'Ironman ' - for $15 plus tax at Wal-Mart. I got the last pair from a previous batch (I could tell because the tag was different). I compared this one pair to all the ones in the new batch, and they made the lens a little thinner with the new batch .

I have a very sturdy pair of Faconable that I got at Nordstrom for about $80.00 in the early to mid 2000s. I misplaced them and found them again in 2011. I checked at Nordstrom that year to see if they were still selling them. They were, and the price was only a bit under $200.00. I've dropped them so many times (scratching the lenses) that I only use them as a backup now....and I refuse to pay the inflated price to get another pair. I bought two pairs of 'NYC Collection' sunglasses at a booth at a local mall for $15.00 total , but the earpiece on one of the pairs broke when in a front pants pocket. I'm looking forward to wearing the Foster Grants, but will still probably also get the ones UberSilver got at Big 5 (if I like how they fit) on my next visit to California.
