Towing my Yaris

I would never do it, because at least on the old mechanical odometers, that mileage, even with the car completely off, added to the total.

I wondered that also....I don't tow my Yaris, but I do tow my '99 Rav4, all 4 wheels down. It has a digital odometer, and I need to have the ignition switch in ACC. to keep the steering from locking up. My guess is (havn't bothered to check, don't really care) the digital speedos don't work unless the engine is running?

with the ignition off it will not increment, but with the ignition on and the engine not running it will.
