Now that's being a good driver, nook.

It's an admirable quality to make things last.

Thanks . It seems as though quite a few people have had problems/issues with those Goodyear Eagles, but they worked well for me. My 'worst' set mileage wise was the next set (from Wal-Mart), but they still lasted 69k miles and were rated to 60k or 65k. The set after the Wal-Mart set were great (Firestone FR710s I got on sale in Carlisle, PA while on a trip). I replaced them at 85,009 miles (and I could have squeezed a few more miles out of them) and those are rated to 65k. I took my Yaris to Firestone to have them put on a new set of FR710s I HAD ORDERED. I walked out to my Yaris after the install and noticed that THE WRONG TIRES WERE ON THE CAR. I walked back inside and pointed this out. The rep said they forgot to order my tires, so they upgraded me to the more expensive Affinity model without charging me more ...without asking me about it beforehand. He said if I don't like them I can always come back within 30 days and they'll put new FR710s on the car. That's what I ended up doing. I drove a bit over 1200 miles on the Affinity model Firestone tires, didn't like them, and returned and had them put new FR710s on the car. I've now got almost 20k miles on those and they look almost new. I've had this newest set in for an included ('Free' 'no extra charge') rotation and balancing and that was completed in a timely and competent manner.
