Filter removal tool TOY 640 has now arrived. All the way from the USA! Does anyone know the correct tightening torque please? The filter retainer seems to be plastic, so I do not want to over tighten, then again I do not want to undertighten and cause an oil leak.

Torque: 40 N•m (408 kgf•cm, 30ft•lbf)

Thankyou for the information C.T. That is a much higher torque than I would have thought for a filter.
