Japanese built -US market
Both our Yaris and Scion xD were built in Japan, and that played a large part of our decision. Baseless decision? Maybe. Maybe not. But the new Corollas cant make that claim here.
We also have 2001 Corolla Which weve owned since new which has taken a lot of abuse (two sons...) and still runs well. Very well. Japanese built. Have also owned 3 Tundras in our family, and frankly NOT the same Toyota experience as we are used to. Built in....the US. Sad to say.
