I know Trini_per4mance's example with 507,000 miles or so has his AC still working just fine after that many miles in Florida heat. No recharge or anything. Pretty amazing.

Some of my miles (of course my total only about half of his) have been in the SF Bay Area and also on trips around the U.S. (so not the mileage exposure to heat that trini's car has performed so well through). I have not had to tend to anything re the AC (same as Trini).
