k, I'll check that out, but I'm still wondering where the two wires connect. Thanks.

The two wires were part of the covered harness shown in that image. It sounds like that harness got chopped, so you will be looking to see how much of the harness is left. You will see the blue and white wires on the other side, when you find it.
