Any subscription info in it? Primedia website doesn't say anything about it.

Primedia is just getting this magazine off the ground. This is only the second issue. If it sells well enough on newstands, they may consider selling subscriptions. Show your support for a B-segment magazine by buying a copy and telling other B-segment enthusiasts about it! Tony D |

The article goes to show how a well tuned Yaris can kick ass. Everytime the b-segment and the microcompact class in general gets a mention, it's always Honda Fit this and Honda Fit that. The ugly Versa gets more press than my beloved Yaris even.
If you don't have a chance to read the article, the Yaris posted the fastest times around the Streets of Willow. The Spoon Fit was a no show due to mechanical problems but Sport Compact Car did run that car on this very same track but the Tein Yaris was still a second and some change faster. Siphon Magazine lap times: Scion Evolution Xa: 1:36.71 Turn3 Versa: 1:36.49 Spoon Fit: 1:34.03 Tein Yaris: 1:32.83 To be fair the Fit ran on a different day with different conditions. The article also makes mention that one corner was configured a little differently to the Fit's times aren't exactly comparable. That being said, the Yaris was originally set up to run with a supercharger but was taken off for this shootout. A rematch was mentioned but I think the Yaris will still come out on top. ![]() |
