Oh come on, you're joking right? Did you notice that the Yaris HB looks like a miniture cross between a minivan and an SUV? That's what makes it actually useful. Europe has different cultures and transportation needs, so don't even try to compare them to the U.S. The countries are so small (mostly) that driving between them is like driving from state to state. You move to Europe, I'll stay here thanks. |

[QUOTE] different transportation needs?? if transportation is defined as getting from point A to point B, then how different are their needs in comparison to ours?? we both use roads to drive our cars. i understand if you said venice needs different transportation needs, since that city is nothing but canals. in fact, europes transportation needs are the same as ours, and even more difficult, since they have less space to deal with. thats why their cars are more space efficient. i cant imagine how much less congestion i'd see on the freeways if our cars were a little smaller. but different people definitely have diffferent views about this, depending on where you live. i consistently drive on the 3 worst freeways in the world here in LA. because of this, i'd like to see smaller cars so traffic will flow more smoothly. and dont even get me started on the parking situation anywhere here in SoCal. --B ps: and i definitely dont think the yaris looks like SUV. no SUVs out there are shaped like our tiny moving bubbles. now the dodge caliber, the front of that definitely screams mini-dodge ram!?!
