There's a lot of room under the passenger seat. I installed my 21" long 4 channel amp under there. If you install it on the box, you'll need to run some pretty large gauge wire all the way back from the battery. Under the set would be a much shorter run, and you could use smaller gauge wire.

How did you solve the floor issue that TOLMACH mentions in post #6 ?

I cut a piece of 3/4 ply, to 20"x10". Bolted that to the floor, then used wood screws to hold down the amp.
