Yes.

Axle back is just the section of the exhaust system behind the rear axle, and actually bolts on just in front of the rear axle.

If I were you, I wouldn't mess around with any of the rest of your exhaust, except perhaps an exhaust header right behind the engine. Those also don't require any cutting or welding and are relatively simple to install. This is my Weapon R header...



It's a beautiful design, even though no one ever sees it.

Many different axle back exhausts are available, and the nice part is that all of them are very easy to install as they just bolt on and use all of your existing stock rubber hangers.

The Tanabe Medalion Touring axle back exhaust is especially nice and has a really mellow tone.

problem is that in malaysia, nobody seems to sell the tanabe exhaust or the header. only cheapo china made headers which arent even equal length are for sale.

That's too bad... I sometimes see really neato aftermarket parts available in Japan that no one will ever get here in the US. Europe gets super economy 6 speed manual trans diesel Yaris' that we'll never see.

Can you buy online through ebay? They're a real convenient way to get stuff from outside the country as they automatically take care of the currency conversion.

The thing i really wish is to get JDM 1.5 4WD system that is only available in japan, either that or the british 1.8 that is only available there.

Ebay items are overpriced. I rather get it through japanese websites, but problem is that some sellers dont do international
