Yes. I have Fumoto quick valves on all of my vehicles. The oldest one I have had on for over 5 years without issue. If you are lowered, you need to be careful as the valve hangs lower than the drain bolt head would have.

Car is stock height. They have one that is made for cars that have been lowered. I'll probably end up getting that one as i do go over speed bumps quite often.

Yep, tried this on my RX-8 and had the same problem. The adapter needed to fit the valve on my vehicle caused the final location of the drain valve tab to be the lowest point of the car and facing the rear of the vehicle. Any minor hit would open the valve. I was told to add washers to adjust the final position, the problem was I needed to clear almost 90 degrees of rotation.

They do recommend you install the safety spring just in case, which I would highly recommend because it also keeps some punk from draining your oil easily should they be crawling around underneath your car for whatever reason.

The valve adapter and safety spring I bought for my RX-8 is still new in the box. I'd give mine to you but it looks like the drain plug size is not the same.
