Very Strange Intake in a Yaris - Toyota Yaris Forums

That is just a hole with a trim ring to bring cold air in to the intake behind it. That looks like one that was custom machined by a person from Germany.

Seen this done before. Not machined, just a hole saw was used and a rubber grommet modified to fit. Nice clean job however.
