Well... 5 mm spacers (the ones I've seen) are not hub centric, the 10 mils are, so the spacer should take most of the beating, not the studs...
But, I would agree, if you're going to be driving very aggressively, and have the budget for it, you'd be better off buying new wheels with the offset you are looking for. For now I'm happy with the 10's! And the difference in handling is noticeable, not just good looking :) Picture attached. That's 15 in the back, 10 in the front, all else stock (for now). |
