May be because car is under warranty Toyota policy here want owners change spare parts frequenrly .or in other words ,maintenance schedule is narrowed so that earning more money .For example, I change oilin Toyota and filter every 5000 km although the oil used is for 10000 km .when you ask them they will tell you to keep the engine in a good shape or the weather here is always hot and oil lose its efficiency.
How some small car aficionados would feel re the VW Polo in the U.S. =

if it was one would be in my garage....and I would have never looked at the fiat 500. I would also be interested in the VW UP.

I just have an affinity for vw small cars.....problems and all. they just don't sell any here.. the golf and beetle don't seem small to me anymore.

I like both the Polo and the UP as well.

Yep. I've owned (in the past) a new Scirocco, and also a new GTI. I totaled the Scirocco with only 7k miles on it . The GTI I squeezed almost 195k out of....but not without many issues. If I ever bought another VW, I'd think twice before keeping it more than half that many miles....but those miles would probably be a lot of fun .
