The Magnaflow metal core converters are very good, durable, and not very restrictive.

That would fulfill all the same critera as the stock cat for emissions in Georgia, right? Would the car throw any codes with it?

Any idea where it would need to be placed if I say went with the nitto pipe?

It needs to be place upstream of the 2nd o2 sensor. It may throw a code depending on how well it works.

IT IS NOT LEGAL FOR EMISSIONS controlled vehicles, but that doesn't mean you'll fail a test in Georgia, not sure of what they check.

I have a house in a non emissions county and a house in an emissions county.... so maybe I need to change my address to non-emissions

I've heard without a cat the exhaust can smell so that's my real reason for wanting one

So on the Nitto it would essentially be where the first resonator is at right after the header flange?
