Desktop PC nuts - Need advice - Toyota Yaris Forums

One of them had a controller that failed and the replacement eventually had a high corruption rate. plus my sandisk cache drive would shit the bed every couple moths causing the whole system to fail to boot.

I just picked up a kingston ssdnow 300v from staples with their 110% price match for 108 and installed it for now. I still need to figure out a mobo, ram, and quite possibly new video cards. I am kicking around the idea of currency mining too now. I hated win8, but can deal with 8.1 much better. I would just stick with win7, but can't ignore the huge jump in data xfer rates in 8. On my machine they are doubled and that is with only sata II on the mobo. I can't wait to pick up sata III.
